Weber Slate 36-in Propane Griddle w/ Cover, Starter Kit & Cleaning Kit - 1500216 + 3400030 + 3400021 + 6777

Our take on the Slate 36-in Propane Griddle w/ Cover, Starter Kit & Cleaning Kit

This 36-inch propane griddle from Weber comes ready to cook straight out of the box, with a carbon-steel cooktop that has been hardened under heat and pressure and then pre-seasoned with food-safe oils to resist rust. Because the surface has no coating, you can use metal spatulas to flip, press and scrape. The cooktop climbs past 500 degrees and spreads heat evenly from edge to edge. The bundle also includes a cover, a cleaning kit and a starter kit, and the Works Prep, Cook and Store System adds a side table that can be turned into a prep station.

This setup suits anyone planning to cook for a crowd or wanting a large, rust-resistant flat top on a propane setup. Check that the 36-inch footprint fits your patio or deck, and confirm you have a propane supply before you buy. Accessories for the storage system are sold separately.

About the Slate 36-in Propane Griddle w/ Cover, Starter Kit & Cleaning Kit

Griddles & Flat Top Grills. Have more fun griddling on the game-changing, 36 Inch rust-resistant Weber Slate Griddle that is ready to cook on right out of the box and stays ready, not rusty, use after use. Weber Slate cooktops are made differently than other griddles.

The carbon-steel gets transformed under extreme heat and pressure that case hardens and bonds the surface, reducing the ability for moisture to collect and rust to form. It is then pre-seasoned with food-safe oils that condition the metal for an extra boost of rust resistance and a natural, easy-release cooking surface right out of the box. No use of coatings means you can use metal tools to flip, press, and scrape without worry.

It reaches over 500 F and heats evenly edge-to-edge for consistently cooked food across the cooktop. Plus, with the Weber Works Prep, Cook, and Store System you can keep cooking and cleaning supplies handy, carry food and condiments from the kitchen to the griddle, convert the side table into a prep station and stow gear in tightly sealed containers (accessories sold separately). This bundle includes a premium grill cover, the Weber 8 Pc.

cleaning kit, as well as the Weber griddle starter kit.
