This built-in gas flat top grill from Le Griddle offers a 42-inch cooking surface across three burners, with a triple-plated, 6mm thick plate meant to spread and hold heat well. Stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum make up its construction. A grease hole in the plate feeds into a removable tray that can go in the dishwasher, and the control knobs light up red when the gas is on and blue when it is off. Safety valves with thermocouples shut off the gas if the flame goes out accidentally.

It suits outdoor cooks who want a large, built-in griddle and are comfortable with a natural gas setup. Before buying, check that you have a natural gas supply, since conversion orifices are included for field use rather than ready for a propane line by default. The unit needs a 110V connection, and a transformer is included.
