This built-in flat top grill from Le Griddle runs on natural gas and offers a 42-inch cooking surface across three burners, with a 3mm plate made from triple-plated construction that combines stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum for heat distribution and retention. Backlit control knobs glow red when the valve is on and blue when it is off, and a hole in the plate channels grease into a removable tray that can go in the dishwasher. Safety valves with thermocouples are built in to shut off gas if the flame goes out accidentally.

It suits outdoor cooks who want a large, fixed griddle setup built into a counter or island. Before buying, check that the unit will be installed in a cabinet made of non-combustible material or fitted with an insulation liner, and note that it requires a 110V connection, with a transformer included. Opposite gas orifices come with the unit for converting the fuel on site, and a lid is available to protect the griddle when not in use.
