Our take on the Pro Series 40 16-in Built-In Propane Flat Top Grill w/ 3mm Plate & Lid - OML40P3 LP - OML40P3 LP + OMLLID40

Le Griddle's Pro Series 40 is a 16-inch built-in propane flat top grill designed for outdoor cooking. Its cooking surface is a 3mm plate with a triple-plated construction, combining 304 stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum to spread and hold heat. Backlit control knobs glow red when the valve is on and blue when it is off, and a grease hole leads to a removable tray that can go in the dishwasher. Safety valves with thermocouples shut off the gas if the flame goes out, and a lid is available to cover the unit when it is not in use.

This model suits someone who wants a compact built-in griddle for a backyard setup and plans to cook on propane. Before buying, check that the built-in installation works for your space: if it goes into a cabinet, the cabinet needs to be non-combustible or lined with insulation. The unit also requires a 110V supply, and a transformer is included. Opposite gas orifices are supplied so the unit can be converted in the field if needed.
