Le Griddle Pro Series 40 16-in Built-In Natural Gas Flat Top Grill w/ 3mm Plate & Lid - OML40P3 - OML40P3 + OMLLID40

Our take on the Pro Series 40 16-in Built-In Natural Gas Flat Top Grill w/ 3mm Plate & Lid - OML40P3

This is a built-in natural gas flat top griddle from Le Griddle, with a 16-inch cooking surface and a 3mm plate. Its body combines stainless steel with cast iron and aluminum, which the maker says helps the surface distribute and hold heat. A hole in the plate lets grease drain into a removable tray that can go in the dishwasher, and the knobs light up red or blue to show whether the valve is on or off. Safety valves with thermocouples are included to shut off the gas if the flame goes out, and a lid is available to cover the unit when not in use.

This suits someone who wants a compact built-in griddle for outdoor cooking and already has a natural gas line. Check a few things first: the plate is 3mm and the unit requires 110V, with a transformer included. If you plan to fit it into a cabinet, that cabinet must be non-combustible or lined with insulation. Opposite gas orifices are included for converting it in the field.
